Submitting <form> variables to a PHP file using method POST will give a '500 Internal Server Error'. Using method GET works fine. Running as a CGI under apache 1.3.6. Only using the php_mysql.dll extention.

e.g. HTML file

<form action="test.php" method=POST>
<input type=text name="name" size=30>
<input type=submit name="submit" value="submit">
</form>

e.g. PHP file

<?
print $name;
?>
