$mktt1= mktime(0,0,0,10,12,2002);
$mktt2= mktime(0,0,0,10,13,2002);
echo date("d/m/Y - D",$mktt1);
echo date("d/m/Y - D",$mktt2);

The two echoes return the same date ("12/10/2002 - Sat")
