Probably not worth much of your time, but I was wondering why you didn't choose to name strcasecmp as stricmp, since it is more intuitive with your function naming scheme:

ie:  
strstr : stristr
strpos : strrpos
etc.

It's just that I didn't find strcasecmp until later.  And "strcasecmp" almost implies a case-sensitive search, from the name itself.  

Just a thought.
