I compiled PHP with the mysql and apxs options only. When attempting to run make install I get the following traceback:

php_functions.c:93:9: missing binary operator
make[3]: *** [php_functions.lo] Error 1
make[3]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/php-4.2.2/sapi/apache2filter'
make[2]: *** [install-recursive] Error 1

This bug has been fixed in CVS. You can grab a snapshot of the
CVS version at http://snaps.php.net/. In case this was a documentation 
problem, the fix will show up soon at http://www.php.net/manual/.
In case this was a PHP.net website problem, the change will show
up on the PHP.net site and on the mirror sites.
