An optional alignment specifier that says if the result should be left-justified or right-justified. The default is <u>right-justified</u>; a - character here will make it <u>left-justified</u>.

french (with error to be corrected) :

Un argument optionnel alignment sp?cifier qui indique que le r?sultat doit ?tre justifi? ? droite ou ? gauche. Par d?faut, il est <u>justifi? ? gauche</u>. Le caract?re - signifie : <u>justification ? droite</u>. 

french (corrected => gauche/droite):

Un argument optionnel alignment sp?cifier qui indique que le r?sultat doit ?tre justifi? ? droite ou ? gauch</u>e. Par d?faut, il est <u>justifi? ? droite</u>. Le caract?re - signifie : <u>justification ? gauche.
