The manual report that socket_last_error has only one optional parameter, but when I run it without parameter I get an error about the missing parameter.

Example:

echo socket_last_error();

write:
PHP Warning: socket_last_error() expects exactly 1 parameter, 0 given in f:\php\php412\test\client.php on line 14

Actually, the documentation refers to the current implementation of the developer snapshot from http://snaps.php.net/php4-latest.tar.gz

Since the extension is marked explicitely as EXPERIMENTAL I don't see a reason to put in documentations for every function whose behaviour changed over the last PHP releases.
