when i am running the above, i am not getting the output,but the output as "HI your age years old"
(ie) without input from the above 
ACTION.PHP
Hi <? echo $_post["name"];?>
Your age <? echo $_post["age"];?> years old

<?echo'<a href="mini.php?name=kevin">hi i am kevin</a>';?>
</body>
</html>
when i am running the above file, i am getting "welcome" as the output,but the address bar showing the 
http://webserver/mini.php?name=kevin

mini.php as under
<?php
 echo "welcome $name";
?>

I have tried in APACHE 2.0.35 also;(both in ISAPI module and CGI binary executable)
My machine is P4

In PHP 4.2.0, the 'register_globals' setting default changed to
be off. See http://www.php.net/release_4_2_0.php for more info.
We are sorry about the inconvenience, but this change was a necessary
part of our efforts to make PHP scripting more secure and portable.
