Bug #1740 Doesn't always print proper content headers

Since upgrading to 3.0.11, certain scripts do not output the proper headers, resulting in a 500 internal server error. This usually happens when allowing PHP to time out, and it does not print the Max Execution Time error at all - it just dies (eg, while trying to connect to a slow remote URL with a 10 second max exec time).

This bug has been reproduced both from the web and using GET from the shell. Email me if you need more information on reproducing the bug - I have 3.0.10 on Windows that doesn't exhibit this behavior, as well as 3.0.9 on another Linux box.
