Bug #1731 gmmktime working wrong during daylight savings
Submitted: 1999-07-17 12:20 UTC Modified: 1999-10-08 00:19 UTC
From: egon at tradeservices dot com Assigned:
Status: Closed Package: Misbehaving function
PHP Version: 3.0.11 OS: Linux
Private report: No CVE-ID: None

In _php3_mktime (functions/datetime.c), the following appears:

    if (gm)
        ta.tm_isdst = 0;
    else
        ta.tm_isdst = -1;

During daylight savings time, this does not work - as far as I can see there is no reason to ever set ta.tm_isdst to 0, it can be set for -1 without regard to gm.
