While executing the make command in apache_1.3.6 I get the following error message:(I,ve exactly been following the INSTALL instructions)

modules.o(data+0x48):undefined reference to 'modphp3_module'.

What can I do now???

After fighting with this Install for more than two days I would be very grateful for some help. (If possible in easy words as I'm not a programmer).
