I have compiled Apache httpd with support for PHP and MySQL.
After I have compiled PHP, trying to configure Apache I received the following error:

> bash-2.02# ./configure --prefix=/www
> --activate-module=src/modules/php3/libphp3.a

I have tried several versions of PHP3, MySQL and Apache (sources) and I get the same error. My gcc compiler is a ANSI one (I compiled some daemons with it, including POP3, IMAP and Sendmail) and I installed al C/C++ libraries.

Try a more recent version of PHP. It should work out of the box then.
