When I tried to open a php file using IE, I could not run the php file.

 print "Hello";

The entire segment from <? to ?> is printed.

My php.ini is as follows:
; php.ini for PEAR tests
include_path=..,D:\Programs\Php\dlls, D:\Programs\Php\extensions

[mail function]
SMTP= localhost ; for Win32 only
sendmail_from= ; for Win32 only

session.save_path= D:\Programs\Php\sessiondata    ; argument passed to save_handler

error_reporting= E_ALL & ~ E_NOTICE; display all errors, warnings and notices

Can anyone identify the problem?
