Compiling with support for both Informix and IBM DB2 worked in versions earlier than 4.0.5 (our prod servers are running 4.0.4pl1 just fine). I've tried compiling versions after 4.0.4pl1 and it fails for each one.

The following is the configure line (and output). After that (seperated with several '=' characters) is the output of the "make" command.

I've been trying to compile with any version of the Informix CSDK (Downloaded today) and IBM DB2 Connect and SDK (currently using 7.2).

If I take out the --with-ibm-db2 or the --with-informix, the compile will succeed.

I've tried putting the line '#include "ext/odbc/php_odbc.h"' before the line '#include "ext/informix/php_informix.h"' to make PHP compile, but then the IBM DB2 database functions don't act correctly. Queries that return data before the upgrade fail when using this "modified" version of 4.0.5.

Please help as I would like to be able to fix the upload problems found recently and still have a functional application.

Compile fails for version 4.1.2 all the way  down to 4.0.5

Figured if I make it a bug for version 4.1.2 someone might actually look at it.

I can get them to compile using the following method:

informix: static module
DB2: shared module

But now the server segfaults on odbc_connect calls.

What would it take to get someone to fix this? I'd like to get our production servers off of version 4.0.4pl1!!!

I'll give the person who fixes this $100 US Dollars. I have been struggling with this problem for almost 2 years now and NOBODY has helped.

1) It looks like your DB2 include file isn't correct.  The ODBCVER part really shouldn't be a problem, but the missing semi-colon line from you sqlcli1.h is.

2) I have no idea what causes the crash in odbc_connect.  Can you please try compiling with the --enable-debug flag, crash the build, and send the backtrace?  

I don't have access to either database, so unfortunately I have no real answers for you.
