Ok so I successfully install openssl 0.9.3a.
Then go to /download/apache_1.3.6 and run:
./configure --prefix=/usr/local/apache --enable-track-vars

The above works fine.

I go to /download/php-3.0.9 and I run:
./configure (works fine)
and then running "make" gives me the following error.

[sam@cdburner3 php-3.0.9]$ make

This ../apache_1.3.6/src/include/ap_config_auto.h file is automatically
generated by (I assume) the ./configure script.

Any ideas? Could someone point me in the right direction at least.
