Hi!

I did dl, the browsercap.ini from the web, and includede the i php.ini but on the infomation page made with phpinfo();

It stills say: browscap no value no value.
And get browser reports:
Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.0; T312461; Q312461)

What is wrong? it that a bug in 4.1.1

Did you restart your webserver after making the modification to php.ini?  If you could, please include the line from your php.ini file that states the path of the browscap.ini file.

Yes the server was allso rebooted

Thank you for taking the time to report a problem with PHP.
Unfortunately your version of PHP is too old -- the problem
might already be fixed. Please download a new PHP
version from http://www.php.net/downloads.php

If you are able to reproduce the bug with one of the latest
versions of PHP, please change the PHP version on this bug report
to the version you tested and change the status back to "Open".
Again, thank you for your continued support of PHP.

Works fine here. (Had to add one newline in the end of the browscap.ini first..)
