Hi, bug # 10070 says it's closed, however this problem still exists. I will explain:

When a user is behind a firewall or a proxy, a compressed page is often served to him with gibrish or broken html source code.

If the page is displayed fine and you refresh it, it ALWAYS returns a broken HTML output. If you look at the page source, it appears fine. But the actual page is opened with the <header></header> HTML content outputted on screen and thus not working (css, javascript, etc).

To reiterate: this only happens with Proxy servers.

Tested and always repeated with IE 5.5, IE 6.0. Doesn't happen with Netscape 4.7

Thanks,

Bira

Can you test this with the latest RC (http://www.php.net/~zeev/php-4.1.0RC3.tar.gz) or a CVS-version?

BTW, if this only happens with certain browsers, it might not be a PHP-problem, but a browser-problem.
