(OK, this IS about a website problem, but relates more to the content oganisation than to a software problem or a bug.)

I just tried to step through the comments on the "header()" command, and I was shocked by the many unordered and often useless or just repeating (!) entries there.
Might be too late to correct this problem, but it's still possible to stop it from getting worse.

Therefore, I propose treeviews for the comments pages, like used in many (web-based) newsgroup forums: Replies are always linked (at least visually) to their reference entry, and everything is sorted by threads.

Regards,

Daniel Kastenholz

This is an annotation system, not a forum!
People should not reply to each others reflections.
This place is to make notes, and add neat trick/tips
to the particular manual page... This is not
intended to be a forum. We have mailing lists for
forum-like discussions...

Anyway we will try to find a way to short things
out. The people currently responsible for this can be
reached at php-notes@lists.php.net
