I defined MSQL1 to 0 in config.h file, but I got the following error messages:

/usr/local/Hughes/include/msql.h:150: parse error before `msqlCopyDB'
/usr/local/Hughes/include/msql.h:150: warning: data definition has no type or storage class

functions/msql.c: In function `php3_msql_fetch_hash':
functions/msql.c:1075: warning: assignment makes pointer from integer without a cast

(There are more, but it's the same error messages).

./configure PHP3 with CFLAGS="-D_OS_UNIX=1", msql.h assumes it sees _OS_UNIX on all Unix flavors and breaks, if it is not there.

Btw, there is a workaround in the current CVS which will be also in PHP 3.0.7
