Bug #11125 hw_insertanchors() segfaults with non-hex Position attributes
Submitted: 2001-05-25 19:30 UTC Modified: 2007-04-04 20:09 UTC
From: torben@php.net Assigned:
Status: Not a bug Package: Unknown/Other Function
PHP Version: 4.0 Latest CVS (2001-05-25) OS: Linux 2.2.14/Mandrake 7
Private report: No CVE-ID: None
 [2001-05-25 19:30 UTC] torben@php.net
<?php
error_reporting(E_ALL);
$hw_link = hw_connect('localhost', 418, 'hwsystem', 'hwsystem');
$doc_id = hw_new_document_from_file("ObjectRecord", "hw_testdocument.txt");
hw_insertanchors($doc_id,
                 array("Position=0x0 0x9\nObjectID=0x3\nTAnchor=Src\nDest=0x5"),
                 array("ObjectID=0x5\nName=DestDoc"));
hw_output_document($doc);
?>

The above script works fine, but replacing the Position attribute with decimal values causes httpd
(apache 1.3.x) to segfault.

HIS version 5.5 & PHP reports HG-CSP version 7.17.

Thank you for taking the time to report a problem with PHP.
Unfortunately your version of PHP is too old -- the problem
might already be fixed. Please download a new PHP
version from http://www.php.net/downloads.php

If you are able to reproduce the bug with one of the latest
versions of PHP, please change the PHP version on this bug report
to the version you tested and change the status back to "Open".
Again, thank you for your continued support of PHP.
