using this simple example I get the right result with the previous version (4.04pl1)
and "not set" with the latest version (4.05)

if(isset($HTTP_SERVER_VARS["PATH_INFO"]))
   echo "value=".$HTTP_SERVER_VARS["PATH_INFO"];
else
   echo "not set";

web server: IIS4
php version: 4.0.5 compiled from source code.

PHP just passes on the variables that IIS sets, it does not standardise them although perhaps we should for PHP 5. Bogusing this report.
