Description:
------------
https://github.com/php/php-langspec/blob/master/spec/04-basic-concepts.md#program-start-up

This makes no mention about how various super-globals like $_SERVER and $_GET and $_POST can be setup by whatever mechanism invokes the initial script. This isn't important in the command-line script use case, but it is in the web request use case.

Thank you for the report, and for helping us make PHP better.

I think they are described here:
https://github.com/php/php-langspec/blob/master/spec/07-variables.md#predefined-variables

That should be enough, more details would depend a lot on the specific implementation (e.g. SAPI, server type, etc.) so we may not want to go deeper.
