I have a problem very similar to bug #41960, but for french version.
I downloaded version generated on 30/06/07 of php_manual_fr.chm and the left side "Summary" entries does not allow access to any page (in the left frame): instead I get a typical IE "This program cannot display the
webpage" message (in french in fact ;). Only is reachable, the two first entries. Well with the right fram "Table of Contents" entries, I can help myself.
But, I just downloaded the last generated version (01/08/07), and the result is worst: even the "Table of Contents" entry does not allow access to the left frame table of contents. So this file in totally unusable as the ToC cannot be reached!

With the version generated on Wed Aug 22 00:33:39 2007, the quality is much more better, but not complete:
It is impossible to get connected the entries in "Zend API" and "API PHP" and "Annexes" as well.
All the other entries seem allright.

Could you try the one from 22 Nov 2007?

AFAIK the Zend/internals docs are not supposed to be in the chm at all.., but the appendixes should work

I tried the last released version, and it works fine; Annexes are now reachable from the left-tree. But not Zend API and API PHP...

Your remark is strange: if Zend API and PHP API are not parts of the document, why is there an entry in the left document tree?

This bug has been fixed in the documentation's XML sources. Since the
online and downloadable versions of the documentation need some time
to get updated, we would like to ask you to be a bit patient.

Did you unblock it in windows with right-click->properties->unblock?

Anyway, the current CHM build haven't toc issues anymore.
