ssh2_scp_send(), ssh2_scp_recv()
both of these functions in the documentation are missing a mode of transfer, e.g. ASCII or BINARY as in ftp_put(). 

I wonder if EOL translation has to be done by the driver author by hand on the streams for ASCII mode... and this depends upon  the platforms of both sides, which makes a long list... so I can only assume it's BINARY.
