With the introduction of namespaces into PHP, it would be useful if the documentation system, including the doc-gen script, had support for namespaces.

Do we have an example of any extension using namespaces?

We currently haven't considered how to markup namespaced things either..

Um, PECL/Cairo has a namespace-using branch 
(http://svn.php.net/viewvc/pecl/cairo/branches/namespacing/). Other than that my 
libnotify extension (http://bitbucket.org/mahcuz/notify) uses namespacing.
