Request 1: Could you please document which PDO drivers require PDOStatement::closeCursor() method to be called.

Request 2: Could you work on the drivers to get rid of this limitation or to track and handle it automatically.  I am working on a PDO driver for Creole and this requirement is affecting my ability to come up with a 100% compatible solution.

Old request is old.

1. Always call it. The main selling point of PDO is that you don't have to worry about drivers.
2. If drivers could do without it then they would. Sometimes they cannot. So the method exists.
