Description: ------------ This is relevant to PHP 5.0.4, although that could not be selected from the bug-reporting version dropdown. Executing "make install" fails to install PEAR. Here's a snippit of the output: Installing PEAR environment: /tmp/foo/lib/php/ [PEAR] Archive_Tar - already installed: 1.1 [PEAR] Console_Getopt - already installed: 1.2 [PEAR] PEAR: file does not exist [PEAR] HTML_Template_IT- already installed: 1.1 [PEAR] Net_UserAgent_Detect- already installed: 2.0.1 [PEAR] XML_RPC - already installed: 1.2.2 The directory /tmp/foo/lib/php/PEAR is missing all of the normal PEAR files. Reproduce code: --------------- ./configure --prefix=/tmp/foo make && make install Expected result: ---------------- Normally ${INSTALL_ROOT}/lib/php/PEAR/ contains a variety of .php files, and ${INSTALL_ROOT}/lib/php/PEAR.php exists. But in this case, none of the PEAR files are installed.
