If I try to use the mail function I receive this error:

PHP Fatal error:  Call to undefined function:  mail() in
/home/httpd/html/bug.php on line 2

the script bug.php is

<?
mail("max@sfera.tv", "test", "test");
echo "Sended";
?>

The server configuration is

Redhat 7.3
Apache 1.3.27
PHP 4.3.2
Sendmail

I try the solution in a related problem, but i have sendmail, the path is correct, and the php.ini is configured (sendmail_path /usr/sbin/sendmail).

Sendmail from line command work correctly, the mail was send !

Please help me

Thank you for taking the time to write to us, but this is not
a bug. Please double-check the documentation available at
http://www.php.net/manual/ and the instructions on how to report

This simply means that the configure script was unable to find the sendmail binary on your system. Make sure it exists and is in the path.
