In Apache I have the line:

AddType application/x-httpd-php .php
php_admin_flag safe_mode On
php_admin_value disable_functions phpversion

php_admin_value disable_functions is ignored, however it does show up as a local varible in phpinfo(). Note all other Apache directives I have are working fine.

If I do this in php.ini:

disable_functions = phpversion

It works.

I need this functionality in Apache however.
