I had Apache 1.3.1 working fine with PHP 3.0.3.

I removed (rpm -e php_mod) that version, and installed (rpm -Uvh)
mod_php3-3.0.5-1.i386.rpm

It couldn't restart Apache. When I tried apachectl restart, it just core
dumped.

So I had to go back to PHP 3.0.3.

The dynamic loading stuff has been reworked and should work now as expected.
