When i load php404pl1 as a apache module and start apache as a service, i can't connect to my oracle 8i serveur. It's work fine, if apache is start at the command line.

your environment is not setup correct. i'm not a windows person - so i cannot hel, but there is no problem in PHP here. ask the php-db list for assistance.
