Description:
------------
Since PHP 8.0.0 RC1 I'm seeing crashes when using PHP 8 on the command-line via ConEmu (https://github.com/Maximus5/ConEmu).

This is still happening with PHP 8.0.0 RC3 (VS16 x86 Thread Safe).

In RC1, these crashes also happened with a plain command-line. With RC3, I no longer see the crashes on a plain command-line, but I do still see them with ConEmu. (I didn't test RC2)

I've reported the issue to ConEmu, but I suspect there is an underlying issue in PHP. I have no clue how to even begin debugging this.

The PHP 8 specific error log I have set up with error logging at `-1` is not showing any errors.

For a full description of the issue, including logs created by ConEmu, please see: https://github.com/Maximus5/ConEmu/issues/2196

If there is anything I can do to provide you with more information, please let me know how to generate the info you need.

I've done some more testing and when running a plain PHP script with `php -f filename.php` no errors occur, which leaves me with the impression that the error may be related to PHP processes which themselves start new PHP processes under the hood.

There could be a PHP issue, naturally, but so far it sounds like ConEmu just isn't compatible with PHP 8 yet. We can wait to see what happens with that bug report.

As ConEmu doesn't have any special relation with PHP, I wouldn't expect them to have to do anything special to support PHP 8.

Their environment is probably different from a standard one in a way that breaks some assumption in PHP...

AFAIK, ConEmu more than anything is just a wrapper around other shell interfaces, like `cmd`, `git` to provide a more user-friendly interface.

It basically gives you a tabbed interface, remembers the tabs for a next session, allows for colour in Windows `cmd`, provides search within the CLI output, remembers commands etc

Nothing specifically PHP related (which is why I figured I should also open an issue here).
