Thank you for taking the time to write to us, but this is not
a bug. Please double-check the documentation available at
http://www.php.net/manual/ and the instructions on how to report
a bug at http://bugs.php.net/how-to-report.php

This is due to the default error mode of PDO is `PDO::ERRMODE_EXCEPTION` now, see: https://wiki.php.net/rfc/pdo_default_errmode

In previous versions of PHP, you can check it by:

code:
```php
var_dump($stmt->errorCode());
var_dump($stmt->errorInfo());
```

output:
```
string(5) "HY000"
array(3) {
  [0]=>
  string(5) "HY000"
  [1]=>
  NULL
  [2]=>
  NULL
}
```

It may seem unreasonable to you, but it is as expected
