  echo... 
 }
$content=ob_get_contents();
ob_end_clean();

echo $content;

When $content very big (50-100K)
echo $content; very slow (from 5 sec to 40 sec time)

please test again and reopen as well as providing more information about your setup, it works fine on all of my setups.
