In the documentation this symbol (|) is marked as italic text.
It looks like a slash.

Please do not use italics here.

The fix for this bug has been committed. Since the websites are not directly
updated from the repository, the fix might need some time to spread
across the globe to all mirror sites, including itself.

Changed the HTML tag from <em> to <code class="literal"> for DocBook <literal> elements.  Ref.;a=commitdiff;h=0cd33b053e2ef66bb78031a278f0c5330891e24f
