I remember we droped all the mirrors when we launched SSL on php.net.

all the mirrors should be forwarded to www.php.net, but it seems docs.php.net is an exception.

docs.php.net is special, and mostly intended to have an early
preview of the manual (it is built every four hours for that
machine).

Apparently, the news and maybe some other stuff is not properly
synced.
