From manual page: https://php.net/intro.apcu
---

-> APCu is just defined as an "APC stripped of opcode caching."
-> the dead extension APC is defined as "a free and open opcode cache for PHP" (http://php.net/manual/en/intro.apc.php)
-> so, it means that APCu is just an empty extension ? :-)

I suggest a concrete description of APCu in its introduction documentation before any comparison to its dead parent extension.
