On FreeBSD 11 (and probably older versions too), the fileinfo module has to be installed seperately, it is not included in the default package as it is on basically every other major OS. I was wondering if this is worth mentioning in the above installation notes.

I don't think it makes much sense to add such distribution
specific details to the PHP manual proper.  In the installation
section there are some specifics, for instance regarding
OpenBSD[1], but looking at the mentioned version number (5.8) this
documentation may already be out-dated.

Feel free to add a user note regarding current FreeBSD specifics,
though.
