Ran following command from command line:

gunzip php-4.0.3pl1.tar.gz

Result of command is:

gunzip: php-4.0.3pl1.tar.gz: invalid compressed data--crc error

Size of file is:
-rw-r--r--   1 webmast  web       2225976 Nov  2 12:26 php-4.0.3pl1.tar.gz
