  echo isset($HTTP_POST_VARS);

always produces 1(TRUE) by php-4.0.3pl1-win32 even no POST method is issued, while php-4.0.1pl2-win32, which we have been using until now, yields the correct result(0).

well that?s correct, this behaviour has been changed for
various reasons, switch to empty()...
