Description:
------------
Seems there is currently no way to do this with PHP debuggers. Xdebug nor phpdbg nor Zend debuggers support this.

Xdebug issue regarding this was closed with resolution "won't fix", because "In PHP, this would mean watching a specific memory location, and that can not be done in a safe way.", see https://bugs.xdebug.org/view.php?id=514

If the quote is correct, this feature request is about implementing a way in PHP core which allows to implement this feature in debuggers easier.
