			$combined->setImageFormat("jpg");
			$combined->setImageCompressionQuality(100);
			$combined->writeImage("xx3.jpg");

Please can you actually describe the problem, and put an example PDF somewhere.

We have noticed a similar problem and have reported it on https://github.com/VTUL/vtechworks/issues/492. Sample files are linked from that report.
