In the english documentation, about the "id" parameter, it's written that:
If id ... For example, the file session handler only allows characters in the range a-z A-Z 0-9 , (comma) and - (minus)! 


In the french documentation, it's written that:
Si id ... Par exemple, le gestionnaire de sessions par défaut, basé sur les fichiers, n'accepte que les caractères compris dans l'intervalle a-z, A-Z et 0-9 ! 

If we translate it roughly, it's like:
If id ... For example, the file session handler only allows characters in the range a-z A-Z 0-9!

The french documentation doesn't say that the comma and minus character is allowed in the session id.
