Description:
------------
When I compile php-5.6.18 from source code, I encountered this

In function `zif_pg_lo_seek':
/usr/local/src/php-5.6.18/ext/pgsql/pgsql.c:3762: undefined reference to `lo_lseek64'
ext/pgsql/.libs/pgsql.o: In function `zif_pg_lo_tell':
/usr/local/src/php-5.6.18/ext/pgsql/pgsql.c:3794: undefined reference to `lo_tell64'
ext/pgsql/.libs/pgsql.o: In function `zif_pg_lo_truncate':
/usr/local/src/php-5.6.18/ext/pgsql/pgsql.c:3824: undefined reference to `lo_truncate64'
collect2: error: ld returned 1 exit status
make: *** [sapi/cli/php] Error 1

I'm using postgresql-9.4.5 (also compile from source code).

Expected result:
----------------
compile complete

Actual result:
--------------
fatal error

Hi,

sounds like some configure issue. These symbols are available since Postgres 9.3. Is there any older installation in the default paths, it will take precedence. What does the relevant configure part tell?

Thanks.

Had same errors when configure PHP with options

--with-pgsql=/usr/pgsql-9.4 --with-pdo-pgsql

Fixed when enter directory for each options

--with-pgsql=/usr/pgsql-9.4 --with-pdo-pgsql=/usr/pgsql-9.4
