the posix shortcut alnum allows for non alph-numeric characters.

ereg("[[:alnum:]]+", "#joseph_") returns true.

this deters from the posix 1003.2 standards.

not a show stopper, but still a bug.

./configure --with-apache=... --with-msyql= .. --with-pfpro= ... --with-gd=...
