My name (Colin O'Dell) contains an apostrophe character.  When I submitted the VCS request form (, the resulting email to the mailing list ( didn't properly (un)escape the apostrophe.

Expected result:
My name would appear as: Colin O'Dell

Actual result:

There's a backslash in the "From" field.  The email body also contains a backslash followed by the numeric HTML entity.
