Just throwing this out there in case it's not on anyone's radar.

I know PHP's not trying to be all things for all people, but given what appears to be a relatively straightforward interface for embedding Julia language into other C / C++ projects, I think it would be amazing to see Julia embedded in PHP.

http://julia.readthedocs.org/en/latest/manual/embedding/

My hunch is this would end up in a PECL extension.

Howdy Cameron

It does indeed sound like an amazing thing to be in PHP, however changes are slim that we will add that to the core source tree and indeed would most likely end up as a PECL extension.

I'm going to close the ticket, but it will ofcourse still remain searchable in the database.
