Description:

here is my simple code : 
<?php
   $a=07;
   $b=08;
   if ($a>$b)
   {
     echo $a;
     }
     else {
       echo $b;
     }
?>

this should output 8
but shows me 7 

I don't know why but in other languages(java vb) answer is always 8 

Test script:
---------------
<?php
   $a=07;
   $b=08;
   if ($a>$b)
   {
     echo $a;
     }
     else {
       echo $b;
     }
?>

Expected result:
----------------
should be 8 in output

Actual result:
--------------
7

Zero prefix on a number means octal. 08 is invalid octal so $b is 0.
