The term "parent" refers to an immediate ancestor in all cases that I have com across. Your grandfather and his grandmother are not your parents, and the calling ancestor classes "parents" is just as wrong IMO.

This is correct ... however, this kind of loose terminology is used all over the manual, I'm not sure what good it would do to change the terminology in one function, I think we require more than that here ...
