Description:
------------
Hello!

It says in the description that:

"Returns TRUE on success or FALSE on failure."

But:
- it returns an exception, if the string is empty
- it returns NULL on succes
- it returns NULL on failure also. (if the connection is died)
(I did not found any case where it returns true)

Please fix that!
Thank you!

The amqp book has been removed from the PHP manual in the
meantime[1], which renders this ticket obsolete.
