From manual page:

The Description ends with 

 Returns statistics for each channel in the image. The statistics include the channel depth, its minima and maxima, the mean, and the standard deviation. You can access the red channel mean, for example, like this: 

and is not followed by the example promised.

the Description lists the prototype as array Imagick::getImageChannelStatistics ( void ), while the Return Value section claims "Returns TRUE on success"
